study the examples. first should be probably "\examples\odreadex\*.cpp"
vc6 project for it is at \projectfiles\win32\msvc6\examples\odreadexdll\
examples are mostly self-explaining. you may open the whole workspace projectfiles\win32\msvc6\allexamplesdll.dsp, containing all the examples with proper dependencies.
