i am using dwgdirect version 2.07.01 and testing performance. i currently am using the opendwg toolkit and viewkit libraries, but i need to upgrade to dwgdirect. i currently am able to open and render 20+mb dwg files in 10-15 seconds. i have tried opening the same cad files using singledoc.exe which is in the dwgdirect library example files. opening and rendering the same large dwg file takes about 45 seconds in singledoc.exe
is the performance of dwgdirect slower than the old toolkit/viewkit?

does anyone use this library for opening and viewing very large dwg files which are over 20mb with good performance?
dwgdirect is slower than old toolkit/viewkit but is more accurate.
currently we are working on performance improvements and next release is expected to be much faster. but not as fast as old odt/odv.
