hi,
attached is a drawing that when i use odamfcapp and set the current layout to layout1, i get a blank screen when i render it.
however in autocad, i get the contents of the model on the screen, via a viewport it would seem.
any ideas.

i have the same problem with all the files i've tried here (autocad 2006 generated) when trying to export pdf's with the latest dwg direct. they just come up blank.
also have this problem when looking at the files with bentley view (which is based on an older dwgdirect i presume).
are autocad 2006 layouts not fully supported?

"layout1" is not initialized.
autocad has an option: options->display->layout elements->"create viewport in new layouts" which is not implemented in dd. so when this option is set, autocad and dd initialize new layouts differently.
