missing character " while writing dxf/dwg(selective and vari
missing character " while writing dxf/dwg(selective and variable behavior)
hai,
while writing text dxf/dwg file, it is missing character "fff">.
in the converter which felicitates between our cad package(thinkdesign) and autocad, while writing text entity, it is missing character "fff"> .i could not predict what cause. i am setting correct odstring value while writing. at the end of all properties set at oddbmtext, still i am able retrieve correct value text contents(to check the content of text).but while checking written dxf/dwg file, there is missing of character ".
it is not happening with all computers. it is selective and variable behavior. i could not reproduce this behavior while making separate vc++ workspace and mfc workspace.
it will be helpful, someone gives fruitful suggestion.

could you get more information? what is version dxf/dwg file? could you attach or send by mail (szajcev@softdev.spb.ru) sample file(s)? what system code page is on your computer? do you use big font for your mtext?

here are some more information.i am using autocad2007.
autocad file version : 2004 version(i am using autocad2007.but file version acad 2004)
code page : cp_ansi_1252
it is happening with not only mtext but also with singlelinetext

what version of dwgdirect do you use? which configuration do you use then it is reproduced (release/debug dll/lib)?

dwgdirect version : 1.14.02
i am using release version of static library components (lib files).

hello petchi muthu,
could you reproduce this situation by next way? you load file original.dxf and save it with another name (for example using odmfcapp.exe). or it may be reproduced only in your application.

dear sergey,
i could not reproduce in odamfcapp .i am sure, we are setting the correct content of text value while writing.but after this stage, we don't have control over dxf/dwg writing .it is further is taken by dwgdirect.my colleague is also facing the same issue in his pc.so i suspect, we are missing some settings.
