modelspace entities also drawn in paperspace
modelspace entities also drawn in paperspace
on some files, i get the modelspace drawing entities drawn again in the paperspace (2nd time apart from being rendered in the model space) along with the other 2d entities in the paperspace
i prepare the device to render the active layout in the database, by calling
...
m_poddb->setcurrentlayout( layoutid );
...
pdevice = oddbgsmanager::setupactivelayoutviews( pdevice, pdwgcontext );
...
pdevice->update();
what am i doing wrong? how can i stop the 2d entities in modelspace from being drawn a second time in the paperspace?

maybe paperspace contains a viewport showing modelspace entities? have you tried autocad to render the same file?

autocad doesnt show the modelspace entities in the layout(s).
if i create 2 layouts in autocad(even if the 2nd layout being empty) and then parse the entities then i get the model space entities in both the layouts, apart from being rendered in the modelspace.
i could probably email you the sample file we created using autocad.

what do you mean by parse? do you see them in odamfcapp in the tree control? are layouts rendered correctly in odamfcapp?
