hi,
i've been chasing the problem (in another thread) of visible attributes that don't display on the screen. in fact i've now realised that no text at all is showing when i load in any dwg file to my app. the attribute problem is just a subset of this issue.
so obviously i haven't set something up correctly. but i can't for the life of me work out what. the dwg files load and display correctly using odamfcapp and progecad lt. can anyone point me at what i should investigate. any help would be greatly appreciated.

based on very limited information you provided i suppose that your application is a kind of viewer and you declared but not implemented (implemented with empty body) textproc() function.

i found the problem was with the unicode setup of the dwg libraries, as a result of which i'd built my app to not use unicode, but this meant i had to comment out the text drawing routines in my viewer. i;'d forgotten to uncomment them!
