i try to use the odcharmapper, but for initializing it needs a mapfile.
how can i create such a file , or where can i find it ?

odcharmapper can be initialized with file "adinit.dat" from odt (c lib). it is obligatory for non-windows platform. under windows the odcharmapper can be used without initialization (its methods use win32 api in this case).
