order of entities during vectorization
is there a fixed order in which the entities in a drawing would be sent during vectorization? is that modifiable?
if i draw 2 hatches in autocad(one below the other), then is the order of their vecorization always fixed?

order of entities vectorization can be set by sortents table attached to blocktabrecord (dbsortentstable). if where is no sortents table usually entities come in the order of their creation.
results you see on screen may be different in different renderers: in 3d mode (device supports z-buffer) you see entity which is closer to you on top of other.
in 2d mode (device does not support z-buffer) the order of entities vectorization is important.
