pitch and family of font
can someone elaborate on pitch and family of a font.
this is a parameter for oddbtextstyletablerecord::font(odstring& typeface,
bool& bold,
bool& italic,
int& charset,
int& pitchandfamily)
pitch and family supply additional information for windows about font appearence to decide what font is better to substitute if required font is missing: is font light or heavy, decorative, script (like hand-written) etc.
