hi,
in the mfc demo application provided with the dwgdirect library, a dwg file is previwed using odgsdevice class and opengl - but the drawing regen occurs during onpaint processing - which actually makes regen on each window resize or show.
is there a way to make a real zoom or pan using this technology - by using some dwgdirect stuff or some other opengl technology? i need to generate the drawing list and after that to has it as a display list which takes care in redrawing viewes etc (actually as in autocad)

current odamfcapp viewing functionality was intended primarily for debug purposes. dwgdirect rendering functionality is under development now. surely some kind of graphic cash should be used instead of full regen at each onpaint. but it would be easier to develop a viewer a bit later.
