pspline->getnurbsdata exception
pspline->getnurbsdata exception i am getting an exception when i try to get the nurb data for the first spline in the attached file. i having this problem with most or all files that contain splines. do you know what the problem might be? i am using 1.10 (2nd edition) builder 6 libraries. oddbsplineptr pspline = pent; int degree; bool rational, closed, periodic; odgepoint3darray ctrlpts; odgedoublearray weights; odgeknotvector knots; double tol; pspline->getnurbsdata(degree, rational, closed, periodic, ctrlpts, knots, weights, tol); attached files rauli, i built odreadex and dwgdirect v1.10 using c++builder 6. i fixed a bug into dwgdirect concerned with enum cast. after fixing it i can read your file successfully. but i want to draw your attention that 'treat enum types as ints' option (projectoptions / compiler) is set off as default for c++builder 6. dwgdirect v1.10 libraries were built using command-line tools where this option is set on as default. please, try to rebuild your application after setting this one on. at the same time i will try to repeat your exception at getnurbsdata() using odreadex and dwgdirect v1.10 (built them using command-line tools). thanks, misha misha kuzinets last edited by misha kuzinets; 9th april 2004 at 06:13 amfff">. rauli, i have bult odreadex & dwgdirect v1.10 by jam (using the c++ command-line compiler). your file is read with success. misha misha kuzinets quote: originally posted by misha kuzinets rauli, i have bult odreadex & dwgdirect v1.10 by jam (using the c++ command-line compiler). your file is read with success. misha misha, as soon as you mentioned that you were using all default compiler settings except for 'treat enum types as ints', i realized that i was using "byte data alignment" instead "quad word data alignment". everything worked once i made that change. thank you, -raul |
