query regarding updating a single entity

query regarding updating a single entity
hi all,
i need to give a blink effect for an entity. for that i am changing the color of that entity alternatively with in an interval. but now what it does is, it redraws all the entire entities in the drawing. i just want to redraw a single entity. is it possible..?

odamfcapp sample contains code for highlighting and dragging entity. one more device is used to draw single entity on top of the rest drawing.
