sat generation sdk?

does anyone know of a good way to generate .sat data programmatically? i have been trying to research the file format without any luck. i just need to do basic 3d modeling manipulation such as boxes, with some regions subtracted maybe. anyway, could someone point me to a good place to read about acis, and the .sat format?

fyi:
we have in plans implementation of some commented out oddb3dsolid and oddbregion functions like createbox(), createsphere(), createtorus() etc.
but not boolean operations on 3d solids.

great, i am glad to see that is atleast getting some implementation. for now i have found that spatial, the creators of the acis model, have a very nice sdk for creating .sat files, as well as a very fair licensing structure. i recommend anyone looking for more 3d solid implementaion to check out .
