the size of text in the demension
the size of text in the demension hi, i used dwgdirect to create a dwg file, please see drawing1.dwg. it contains a circle and a diametric diemnsion. opening this file in autocad2005, from the property of the dimension, the text override is "{\farial|b0|i0|c0|p34;aa}\x\a1;{\fvdsgd&t|b0|i0|c 0|p34;f }153.920{\farial|b0|i0|c0|p34;bb}\p{\farial|b0|i0| c0|p34;cc}". it shows that the measurement 153.920 and the prefix( angle symbol ) have the same size(3.175). but in autocad, the measurement looks smaller than the prefix, please see dwg.jpeg. what does cause this problem? yours. attached images the diameter symbol in prefix is supposed to be rendered with "vdsgd&t" font. i have no it on my computer so i see "f" character instead. based on yout jpeg i can suppose that the size difference is caused by different fonts. for example in 2 different fonts size of "a" character is the same and size of "a" character may be different. sergey slezkin |
