unicode symbols rendering
unicode symbols rendering we use dd 1.12.06 and have a problem with rendering unicode symbol in japanese dwg-file. autocad can display it correctly (see attached files), but dd (odamfcapp) render this symbol as "?". ps: findfile() can locate all needed font files. attached files any ideas? best regards, ivan obraztsov acad searchs unicode symbol (in attached file "\u+00d7") in main font of style (simpex.shx). in case font doesn't contain this symbol acad converts its from unicode to mbcs and searchs in bigfont(default locale on computer must be set on japanese). there is bug in dwgdirect. it will be fixed in near future. -- best regards, sergey zaitcev i also noticed that it does not correctly convert if the user has the %% sign before it. in autocad 2005 the %%\u+2104 will still convert as the centerline symbol but in doing the dwf out it looks like it's not recognizing either way. \u+2104 is converted as just a space %%\u+2104 is converted as the text \u+2104 is this bug already fixed? best regards, ivan obraztsov it's very important for us... best regards, ivan obraztsov the bug is fixed in current 1.13 code but not in 1.13.00 release. the fix will be available in nearest update. sergey slezkin |
