visibility of entities ?

hi everybody,
in the attached zip file, you will find:
-hmi2.dwg
-hmi2.jpg : showing this dwg displayed in autocad and in my program based upon dwgdirect.
as you can see, i display some entities that are invisible for autocad.
since all layers are visible in autocad and since i test oddbentity::visiblility, i wonder why ?

the block you mentioned (a$c290d74e9) is really inserted into model space. but its extents are inside extents of other visible entities. probably you have some errors with processing block reference parameters.
btw, odamfcapp diaplays the drawing as autocad does.

are you telling me that, before displaying a block, i should check if its extent is not inside the extent of the other entites ?
this test should be done only on blocks ?
it seems a bit odd to me.
no. i mean that the block you have problems with should be visible but probably your application displays it incorrectly (with wrong scale/position).
it seems that all drawing on your picture is displayed as a small spot and the block reference is huge. in autocad and odamfcapp it is displayed among other geometry (between other entities).
