what's wrong with this spline ?
what's wrong with this spline ?
hi support,
i made the attached dxf with dwgdirect 2.4.1.
it contains a periodic spline which is invalid according to autocad 2004.
could someone explain me what is wrong the this spline ?

number of knots should be equal to the number of control points + degree + 1

i do not know spline very well but i think that the equality
nbknots = nbcontrolpoints + degree + 1
is valid for non periodic spline.
but my spline is periodic. so the problem is elsewhere...
for periodic spline the number of control points should be equal to the number of knots. (this way it works in acgenurbscurve3d)
but i'm not sure that acdbspline can be periodic, i think it is not supported.
