geo tol for insert molded par
geo tol for insert molded part
i would like to properly apply a geometric tolerance that aligns my metal insert mold part to the center of the hole in the plastic part. i'm not sure if i need the "concentricity" or "runout" tolerance. i would like the metal part to be within .010" of the axis on the hole in the plastic part. can anyone give me some advice? thank-you. here's a picture of my part... how about a positional tolerance? it should accomplish what you ask. i agree with position. i have had this identical application, and used a true position fcf. ahh..yeah. i didn't think about the position tolerance. thanks everyone. that's what i'll go with. promoting, selling, recruiting and student posting are not allowed in the forums.
