max material on run ou
max material on run out
hi, we got a request from a supplier to add a max material to the run out requirement of 0.05. they are saying this will allow them to have up to 0.113 max run out with a min spline and 0.05 with max spline. but does anyone ever have heard of max material on a run out???? can't be possible can it? thanks martin check out our whitepaper library. as in flatness and circularity, there cannot be material condition modifiers on run out. you can have datum references in run out thought while you cannot have datum references in flatness and circularity. mmc is only applied to features of size such as pins and holes but certainly not runout. this is always in a rfs mode since it is a surface condition. i would ask you customer to shown this condition in the asme y14.5m-94 standard. i know they would never find it. hope this helps dd promoting, selling, recruiting and student posting are not allowed in the forums.
