designing with plastics and composites handbook & modern plastics handbook are two books i use.

be careful about tolerances published by trade organizations such as these! they tend to publish tolerances that are very conservative. for example, the rma (rubber manufacturer's association) lists tolerances that are so coarse that one is tempted to rule out that family of materials. another fine example is nadca (north american die casters association). i discovered that the best source of information on d&t of injection molded parts is a knowledgeable, cooperative injection molder!
