i'm looking for specific information regarding how national code changes are handled within state or municipal juristictions. for example, if there is a national code fire service designation change do states and cities with their own codes have to conform? the next question is, how does one get info regarding these specific requirements?
all new codes must first be adopted. your local building inspector should know which code, either ansi or local applies.
