i recently read somewhere (don't remember where) a suggested max concrete core diameter in relation to the deck thickness. has anyone seen this recommendation?
does anyone know a publication which addresses the performance of concrete deck slabs with varying size full depth penetrations (with or without steel sleeves)?

are you talking about a composite deck or a flat slab?
