how to analyze a shell, folded plates?

folded plate design is in aci 318, chapter 19.
try theory of plates and shells, for one. check up on the asce, aci sites and see what they offer. i think there's quite a bit of information out there.

"design and construction of concrete shells" by ramaswamy. is a great book, both theory, derivations and design. all kinds of shells.
the late milo ketchum is one of the best shell designers. his son, mark, still runs milo’s website. on that site there are several articles and basic programs that can be used to design and analyze shells. keep i mind that the aci codes did change since then. you can use them as guide.
