fatigue analysis for longitudanal welded attachments
i have a large stressed monopile (3.5m in diameter) to which is welded a 200x200mm channel to house cabling. in doing fatigue analysis to the dnv codes i am using a s-n curve classification of f3. do i also need to included a stress concentration factor in my fatigue calc?
