flat slab design
i need some clarification from experts in the elastic analysis of flat slab design with regards to edge strips defination in braced frames. is it correct to assume a quarter of the stiffer span when determining the design strip or this edge strip is totally independant of the spans but a function of the edge column dimensions and the distance from the edge.
