foundation on bentonite type soil
hi,
i have a ground plus four storey structure above a soil which contents bentonite. the water table is at 2 m below ground level. what should be the foundation precautions ?
your geotechncial consultant should be giving your recommnendations as far as foundation type and any special preparation. if you don't have a geotechnical specialist already on board, you should hire one.
