is modifing the jack rafter on connection change anything?
well just want to ask that is the edge of jack rafter originally a c purlin (cfs) cut at edge and split to fit the connection at the end of hip without using any plate connection.which originally using a creeper bracket(steel plate)to connect hip rafter .is it okie or not? will the loading bearing of the connection change? how to check?
