looking for bearing pressures
i am looking for a good source or chart/table for presumed/probable bearing capacities of various compacted fill soil types at various compaction (90% to 95%) specifications.
any help locating a source would be appreciated.

try navfac soil mechanics design manual 7.2, table 1, page 7.2-142. it lists presumptive bearing pressures for spread foundations on various subgrade materials.
thanks for the tip. however, when i try to download that manual their link does not work. i browsed their ftp contents but still can't locate #15. any other places you can get it?
