metric sizes for welded wire fabric
could someone suggest a good source to use in converting standard welded wire fabric sizes to si sizes. astm provides a manual but it costs $30.

the concrete reinforcing steel institute (crsi) has a manual called msp-1. it has the info you need. while they sell these, you can fairly often get a supplier to give you one. even if you have to buy it, i don't think it is very expensive.
they also have a publication, edr 42, "using soft metric rebar in non-metric construction" that might be helpful. this is a free download from their website -
the crsi download is helpful with rebar sizes, but i have yet to find anything addressing welded wire fabric. thank you for your suggestion.
