prestress strand - calculating debond length based on slippa
is anyone familiar with a method for calculating the effective debonding of a prestress strand based on its slippage? the only reference i've found are the strand stress-strain curves, but using these will only let me calculate a prestress loss over the entire length of the member, whereas an effective debond length will only be on the end of the slippage, and give a more accurate result. thanks check out our whitepaper library. if by debond length you mean transfer length then check out the link below (page 16 of 30)- debonding is when you wrap the end of the strand at the ends of the member to relieve some of the tension at the top. i don't think this is what you're looking for. check out the transfer length link provided by shin25. |
