what are the advantages and disadvantages of using pumice as the "lightweight agg" in cmu block? thanks in advance for any help.
pumice can be used as the lightweight aggregate in masonry units. apply same quality standards as for other aggregates including particle size, shape, integrity. check for potential reactivity as pumice can be contaminated with a variety of materials.
