anyone know of a tool to translate between strudl and staad input files? before i write one, i'd like to see if one is available.

which way do you want to go? strudl to staad or vise versa? if you want to go from strudl to staad, there is none (published publically) as far as i know. but i think gt strudl provides a translator from staad to strudl - there language is very similar. a company in ny that i worked for used to use strudl but modelled the structure in staad as it was much easier. i know of a company that has written one from sap to staad and vise versa if you are interested.
