text book for lrfd third edition
can anyone recommend a good textbook that covers the lrfd third edition? i have one by jack mccormac for the first edition lrfd, but want something more current as i try to get up to speed on lrfd. up to this point in my career i have always used the 9th edition asd. thanks.
you may want to hold off until the new combined asc/lrfd specification comes out next year. here is an update in the july 2004 issue of structure magazine (free .pdf download of the article titled "codes & standards"):
