total indicated runout
could someone lease tell me how is the best way to check the tir on a tube ax. 4" od x 30" lg. there is a conflict between indicator -vs- cmm ( romer arm) eng. -vs- qa.

believe what the indicator says, a cmm cant check "total" runout.

it's old (quit fishing!). i reported this rely-sammer quite a few times when they (there were several) oed u. you can see it did a lot of good.

sorry, had a question on runout and noticed it in the thread.
