does anyone out there have any exerience opening unigrahics files in pc-dmis?
what i am looking for, specifically, is to see if i have a model created in ug, with points to be measured, if i open the file from pc-dmis, will only the solid model be available, or will the points be available also?
the points should be available. i often request that they be put on another layer. i had some truoble with some assemblies which can use a "library" of arts. pc-dmis would search the directories for the arts and they would not load. (ket getting an error message). i take the complete art and export (translate in ug) the assy as a parasolid then bring convert it back to .rt file-this can cause data loss but i have not had any problems with it so far.
