weight of eifs or dryvit system

hopefully a simple question. i have a 6" metal stud wall @ 16" oc with eifs, what would be the weight of this system. i usually use about 10 psf but i'm thinking this is high.

in aisc, design guide 22, table 2-1. dead loads for facade components and systems, lists 6" metal stud backup @ 16" oc as 1.7 psf and eifs self weight as 1 psf. but under common design assumption for system, it lists 10 psf for eifs, which in note 5 at the bottom of the table includes gypsum sheathing, metal studs, and hardware.
are you having an issue getting a spandrel to work that you want to reduce this already low load?
