wind provisions in boca '99
does anyone know if boca '99fff"> folows the aisc 7-98 wind provisions or does the code have its own wind provisions?

boca 99 refers to both asce 7-93 and 7-95. chapter 35 of boca lists which sections of asce 7 apply where....its somewhat confusing.
but generally the wind and seismic provisions apply to 7-93.
the code lets you choose whether to use the wind provisions that are self-contained within boca 99 or use the asce 7-93 provisions.
