has anyone ever applied to become a solidworks research associate?

haha... going quite well thank you. i have some ideas for a couple of sw utilities but for a while i haven't had the time to do more about it. what are your plans?

i beleive you must have "solidworks customers" to apply to the program
i dont think there are many companies using sw have the "solidworks customers" - our customers use the machines we design and have no idea what sw is
if this is the case, how to apply for a research associate?

being a research associate is relevant if you intend to develop and sell tools for sw - to sw customers. it could be something like luke malpass' batch program for example. all gold partner developers have started as research associates. it is the first step in the process of being a gold partner to solidworks - developing gold partner products.
