insert a pic and draw on it
hello,
i was browsing few videos and saw someone working on catia to draw a 3d car out of a picture.
is this feature available in swx, can i insert a picture to be my guide for curves so i can draw on it and it will be as a background? and if yes how to do so?

take a look at "sketch picture" in the solidworks help. you can do this very easily in sw.

another question : can i insert many pictures for different oriontation ? front, top and right views so i can draw a 3d model or of 3 views that i got with a camera ?

sure--insert them into different sketches drawn on the planes you want them on.
