just about to purchase solid works, which one is better value, the professional or premium package?
don't do a lot of pipework or cabling at present.

professional version suitable for you, unless you need to do stress analysis, then you have to go with premium
i would opt for premium
i'd opt for the professional version unless they offer a killer deal on the premium. check into the maintenance cost between the two as well.
