how to add title and desctiption to vb6 addin?

testing solidworks 2009 (pro) sp0.0
dell precision t3400
2 cpu (8500) 3.16 ghz, 3.25 gb of ram
window xp pro sp2
nvidia fx 570 6.14.11.6262
if you mean title and description that show up under "tools --> addins", that goes in the registry (hklm/..../solidworks/addins/youraddin).
just opening the adding in sw won't fill those registry keys. usually i include registry keys with install package.

the install/distribution packakage w/ vb6.
quick
