borland support
i would personally like the oda to continue support for all borland products.
i see from the following link that borland has formed a new company named codegear to continue development tools like delphi, builder etc.
maybe all the borland users can provide the support for the borland libraries if assisted by the oda. suspect we would need to be "founding members" though?

any other input from members on this subject would be appreciated. the deprecation decision is not final at this point.
are we really the only two borland builder users?
speak up now, or forever hold your peace. if there are only two people using borland there will be zero soon. with enough demand, however, we might be able to continue supporting borland.
i'm new here today and was looking for some delphi help. now i found this actual thread about stopping borland support . i just started to put the oda libs to our company products and i would be afraid if there is no future for this.
it already seems to be hard to get help as there are almost vb and c++ developers in this forum.
i would appreciate that support for borland continues.
my company would certainly have a big problem if support for borland was dropped. we have a large cad-cam package which we may well rewrite in something other than builder c++ one day, but that day is a long way off.

delphi uses com interface. borland c++ support is irrelevant in this case.

my company is also using borland c++, and would be looking at a non-trivial rewrite to support interfacing with another library.
my company is also using delphi7 and i am here for evaluation oda libraries and the possibility of linking them with our products.
is "drop of support for borland" final?
