dwgdirect crash on opening dxf file.
dwgdirect crash on opening dxf file.
i would like to submit the enclosed dxf file to you for checking, as i was unable to open it with odamfcappdll (nor, of course, with my application based on dwgdirect (still built on version 2.1.0)) .
both 2.2.0 and 1.1.4 versions of odamfcappdl crashed when i tried to open this file, while version 1.1.2 was able to open and display it. (and of course our client opens and manages this file with autocad, and expects to use it with our application)
the error message was :
assertion failed !
expression: "invalid execution"

crash and assert are not the same things.
the file can be opened in odamfcapp if in assert message box you click any button except "abort".
the assert takes place only in debug build informing you that invalid data (timestamp) presents in file. in release build you will not see any assert message boxes.
btw, i'm not sure about 1.1.x versions but 1.6 was released 3.5 years ago.
