dwgdirect error: not that kind of class
dear sir.
i read autocad2007 dxf file kept from the end-user by using dwgdirect2.20.
then, the "not that kind of class" error occurred.
i made the ok file and the ng file for the cause pursuit.
the difference of two files is a description of the range of the drawing as the presence of the layout class.
these files are changes of the dxf file of autocad2007 with the text editor.
an original file cannot be submitted.
is the cause to which "not that kind of class" error occurs understood from these
files?
please help me.

autocad crashes at attempt to load the test_ng.dxf
our sample odamfcapp reports "object of class acdblayout can't be cast to oddbblocktablerecord" at file opening.
that means that somewhere in the file a handle of layout presents where block table record handle must be. this may happen for example if both objects (a layout and a block table record) have the same handles.
btw our recover reports more defects than invalid layout and heals the file. (in odamfcapp file/recover or oddbhostappservices::recoverfile()).
