any idea how to read and write the layerstates into the dwg using dwgdirect 1.12?
dxf 2004/5 saves it as:
dictionary

330
2
100
acdbdictionary
280

acad_layerfilters

aclydictionary

is creating the dictionay "acad_layerstates" and putting in it the
layers list that are on will do it? any other information?
is "acad_layerstates" the accepted name in dwg?
is it supported by dwgdirect, so we can read it later?
thank you in advance,
salleh

currently dd has no support for layer states. actually as you noticed they are stored in extension dictionary of layer table. untill layer state support is implemented in dd you can access them via extension dictionary and xrecords it contains.

this requires some reverse-engineering we have not done yet. we plan to include layer states api in next release.
