newbe question: need accurate height
hi,
i'm new to dwg files, and only need to extract some simple data from them: basically, i need to get the (x, y, z) values of the outlines as they are displayed in cad software. working from the odreadex sample, i have been able to get the (x, y) outlines from the block table, but have not been able to get z. in the case of a polyline, it looks like z should be available, but it is either 0 or a constant for the entire polyline. in the case of a 2dpolyline, i can get an elevation, but it tends to be 0.
i have seen that there is a full 3d mesh available, but i have no idea how to get the z (height) value from all the (x, y) points i have. any help would be greatly appreciated.
