hi,
i have noticed a difference in pdf export file sizes between versions of dd.
i recently upgraded from using 2.3 to 2.6 and pdf file sizes have gone up significantly.
one test i did in 2.3 had a file size of 218kb but when the same file was pdf exported through 2.6 it was 991kb. there seems to be no obvious difference in the pdf files themselves
i can replicate this in odamfcapp.
when i run the reduce file size command from inside acrobat they both reduce to similar file sizes, although the 2.3 export is only slightly smaller while the 2.6 export comes down to about what i would expect.
is this different by design or a bug?

has anyone been able to look at this issue yet?
either way is there a work around to produce the pdf's in a similar size to the 2.3 dd version as the massively increased file sizes for 100's of drawings exported to pdf is having an impact on our storage.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

it was fixed in the 2.7.0 beta 2 - i have added new flag to pdfexport - compressed\non compressed. i am not sure that beta 2 is already availble officially. but it should be availble for downloading in few days.
