problem with getsysvar
problem with getsysvar
hi,
i having problem with using getsysvar function using a valid database pointer,
it was working fine with ver. 1.3 but with version 1.4, except that every thing working fine, but as i use getsysvar program throws an exception.
( err desc - "invalid input"). is there anything i need to do access system variables.

which variable are you trying to access then you get einvalidinput?
pdb->getxxx() and pdb->getsysvar("xxx") are not always the same.
example:
getextmin(), getpextmin()
but only getsysvar("extmin") is valid. it returns extmin of active layout. and getsysvar("pextmin") throws.
