are there any plans to support raster design's new functionaltiy 'embedded raster image'?

hi,
autocad raster design 2008 provides the functionality to store raster (image) data in the dwg file instead of an external file. for this, it uses a new entity called aecidbembeddedrasterimage, which contains all the raster data.
this entity is not a standard autocad entity, so when loading a raster design dwg into a plain autocad, you get a "has proxy entities" message.
this functionality is interesting for us, but before starting to code it on our own, it would be helpful to know whether there are plans to support it in the toolkit.
