is there a way to vectorize just shx fonts like using the same concept as getsamplepoints for circle type entities, without having to go through all the troubles of setting up a device, and and context, and a view etc.... just to do some simple vectorization.
alternatively does anybody know of an open source shx interpreter, or a library that can do this, similar to freetype?
basicallt its too much of an overkill for what i am trying to acheive, and would like another way of acheiving the same results.

where is no a function in dd to get polyline from shx text by a single call.
